The performance is based on the conscious suspension of sight as the primary channel of connection with reality. The artist exists in a liminal state between the vertical and the horizontal, exploring space at the threshold between sleep and wakefulness. The method relies on working with rhythm and speed of movement: through maximum immersion in the process, a state of induced somnambulism is achieved, in which the body continues to act while consciousness loses control, finding itself trapped between form and formlessness, the tangible and the disembodied.
